Canal Plastics Center stocks one of the widest selections of extruded acrylic tubing in the US - including large-diameter clear tubing up to 12″ OD and frosted tubing up to 6″ OD that most distributors don’t carry. Three profiles are available: clear round, frosted round, and clear square. All tubing ships in lengths from 12″ to 72″, with custom cutting available in-house.
Extruded acrylic tube is lighter and more shatter-resistant than glass, machines cleanly, and bonds with standard acrylic solvents. Clear round tubing delivers optical-grade transparency - displays, aquariums, architectural models, and lighting rigs rely on it for exactly that. Frosted round tubing diffuses light evenly without hotspots, making it the go-to for LED channel work, pendant fixtures, and decorative installations. Clear square tubing is used in furniture, retail fixtures, and structural fabrication where right-angle geometry matters.
Every tube order can be cut to a custom length, with end polishing available on request. Our fabrication shop is on-site at 345 Canal Street, SoHo — walk-ins welcome.
