Our colored acrylic sheets—also known as colored plexiglass, Lucite, or Perspex—are made primarily from cast acrylic, prized for its vibrant color depth, rigidity, and ease of fabrication. Cast acrylic delivers richer, more consistent color than extruded acrylic, with a smoother polished edge when laser cut or machined.

At Canal Plastics Center, nearly all of our sheet materials are cast acrylic, with the exception of our Mirrored Acrylic and Iridescent Acrylic collections, which are made from extruded acrylic for optimal consistency and reflective performance.
