Colored Acrylic Rods

Colored extruded acrylic round and square rods in fluorescent, transparent, and opaque finishes - 32 SKUs across both profiles. Diameters from 1/16″ up to 1″, standard length 72″, with cut-to-size available. The same material properties as clear acrylic rod: shatter-resistant, lightweight, machines and drills cleanly, bonds with standard acrylic solvents, and cements directly to acrylic sheet.

Fluorescent rods - blue, green, pink-red, red-orange, yellow, orange - are edge-lit material: light enters through the cut end and travels the length of the rod, making the color glow from within. Used in signage, illuminated display elements, event installations, and anywhere a saturated color with light-pipe behavior is the spec. Transparent rods transmit color while maintaining clarity - red, blue, green, yellow, purple, amber, magenta, pink - used in display, model building, architectural accents, and decorative fabrication. Opaque rods in black and white deliver solid, non-transmissive color for structural and decorative work where light transmission is not part of the design. Green Edge and Bronze Smoke are specialty finishes with their own distinct optical character.
