LED Lighting Acrylic Tubing

Frosted and translucent white acrylic tubing are the two standard materials for LED diffusion work - used by lighting designers, set builders, prop fabricators, display makers, and architects to produce clean, even light output from LED strips, tube inserts, and architectural systems. Canal Plastics Center stocks both finishes across a wide range of outside diameters, with frosted tubing available up to 6″ OD and white tubing up to 2″ OD.

Frosted acrylic tube has a matte surface that scatters light in all directions, eliminating visible LED points and producing a consistent glow along the full tube length. It’s the default choice for pendant fixtures, sconces, and channel housings where a soft, diffused output is the target. Translucent white tube reflects light back through the material for a brighter, more luminous result — used when maximum output with a clean edge is the priority, including illuminated displays, signage backlit elements, and high-output architectural fixtures.

All tubing is cut to length in-house. Standard lengths run 12″ to 72″; custom cuts are available up to 72″ via our order form here.
End polishing is available on request.
