A clear translucent acrylic with a frosted satin finish on both sides — Frosted Satin Ice diffuses light evenly without blocking it, producing a soft, glare-free glow that reads as clean and architectural. The finish scatters light rather than stopping it, making it the go-to material for lighting designers and architects who need controlled, even diffusion. Currently sourced from ACRYLITE Satinice (0D000 DF), extruded acrylic.
Used in architectural lighting fixtures, LED panel diffusers, skylights, privacy partitions, decorative glazing, shelving, furniture, and retail display. A consistent specification for lighting designers who need documented light transmission data. Pairs well with LED strips and backlighting systems where hotspots need to be eliminated and even distribution is critical.
