Clear Velvet Matte Polycarbonate Film

Clear Velvet Matte Polycarbonate Film is a dual-finish polycarbonate substrate — velvet matte on one side, clear gloss on the other — engineered for applications where surface diffusion, printability, and durability all matter. At gauges from 0.010" to 0.030", it is thin enough to install flat against a surface but tough enough to resist cracking, snapping, or tearing under repeated contact and impact. The matte surface accepts print cleanly and reduces glare, making it a reliable choice for graphic overlays, instrument panel covers, printed decals, and nameplates. In commercial interiors, it is widely used as a wall protection film — applied to lobby walls, hotel corridors, and high-traffic surfaces where a durable, cleanable, low-sheen finish is required.

The film can be printed on, die-cut, and thermoformed for precision fabrication work. It cannot be laser cut. Field installation is straightforward — the film cuts cleanly with a utility knife or exacto blade, no shop equipment required, making it practical for on-site wall covering and surface protection applications. The clear gloss reverse side provides a smooth backing surface for adhesive mounting or layered assemblies.

Full sheets are stocked at 24" × 48" in four gauges: 0.010", 0.015", 0.020", and 0.030". Available at CPC's Canal Street location and online.
