DESCRIPTION

Weld-On 16 is a medium-bodied solvent cement for bonding acrylic, formulated without methylene chloride (DCM) or trichloroethylene (TCE). The thicker consistency gives it gap-filling capability and a longer working time compared to water-thin cements like Sci-Grip 3 or 4 - useful when precise alignment and edge bonding are required, or when surfaces have minor imperfections that need to be bridged. Bond strength, clarity, and cure times are equivalent to the original Weld-On 16 formula.

Used for acrylic sheet bonding, edge joints, and fabrication work where a thicker cement is easier to control. The medium body helps fill small voids and reduces the risk of cement running out of the joint before it sets. Available in 1.5 oz tube and 16 oz can. 

⚠ Not recommended for mirrored or iridescent acrylic — may damage film backing.
