IPS Sci-Grip 3 is a water-thin, very fast-set solvent cement for bonding acrylic. It works by capillary action. Apply with Craftics Plasticator or other suitable applicator. It wicks between the surfaces and chemically fuses them for an optically clear, seamless bond. Working time is approximately 1 minute, fixture time 2 minutes, with 80% bond strength reached at 24 hours.
The standard choice for flat acrylic sheet joints, display fabrication, and any application where a clean, invisible bond line is the priority.
Note: in high-humidity environments, joints may show white blushing - if this is a concern, IPS Sci-Grip 4 is recommended as it is more resistant to blushing.
