P-99 Non-Glare Acrylic Sheet

ACRYLITE® Gallery Non-Glare P99 is the standard specification for museum and gallery framing where reflections interfere with viewing. The non-glare side carries a subtle matte texture that diffuses reflected light without distorting the image behind it, delivering a clean, unobstructed view from any angle under any lighting condition. UV filtering is inherent to the material — approximately 90% UV stable — with 90% light transmission. The non-glare surface faces away from the artwork.

Outstanding when mounted directly against photographs, particularly black and white prints, where the non-glare surface eliminates distracting reflections without affecting image clarity. For best results, P99 should sit directly on the surface of the print — do not use with mat boards, as the air gap between the glazing and the print will cause diffusion and soften the image. That diffusion effect, while unintended for standard framing, makes P99 a deliberate choice for shadow boxes and applications where a soft, diffused look is the design intent.

Extruded acrylic, non-glare finish one side, smooth reverse (0A000 AR). Full sheets 48" × 96", pre-cut tolerance +/−1/8". Compatible with cutting, routing, drilling, and edge polishing. Intended for framing and conservation applications — not recommended for screens or display panels. Custom cut-to-size available from our SoHo NYC workshop.
