Colored Acrylic Tubes

Colored extruded acrylic round tubes in fluorescent, transparent, and opaque finishes - 14 colors across three finish types, outside diameters from ¼″ to 2″, lengths from 12″ to 72″ with custom cutting available. The same shatter-resistant, lightweight material as clear acrylic tubing, in color. Machines and cuts cleanly, bonds with standard acrylic solvents.

Fluorescent tubes - pink-red, blue, green, yellow, red-orange, orange - are edge-lit: light enters through the cut end and travels the tube length, making the color glow from within. Used in illuminated signage, display elements, event installations, and architectural lighting accents where saturated neon color with light-pipe behavior is the spec. Transparent tubes transmit color while maintaining clarity - blue, red, purple, green, amber, yellow - used in retail displays, museum installations, architectural sculptures, aquariums, and decorative fabrication. Opaque black delivers solid, non-transmissive color for structural and display work. White is translucent when used with LED strips. 

Museums and children’s museums use colored acrylic tubing extensively - in interactive exhibits, sensory installations, and large-format sculptural builds where color, durability, and safe handling are all requirements. The material is shatter-resistant, lightweight, and easy to cut and assemble on-site. Architects and installation artists spec colored tubes for freestanding and wall-mounted sculptures, modular color systems, and permanent interior features.

All tubes ship with saw-cut edges. Cut to length, end polishing, and cementing to acrylic sheet are available. Walk-ins welcome at 345 Canal Street, SoHo.
