DESCRIPTION

A vivid, saturated blue that diffuses light with a clean, cool glow — Blue Translucent reads as bright and even when backlit, distributing light across the surface without hotspots or variation. The material sits between transparent and opaque, softening the light source while holding strong color saturation throughout.

Used in illuminated signage, lighting design, event decor, display work, and LED backlit applications. A stronger, more diffused alternative to Blue Transparent for applications where even light distribution matters more than see-through clarity. Pairs well with LED strip lighting for signage and architectural accent work.

Cast acrylic, gloss finish both sides. Full sheets 48" × 96", pre-cut tolerance +/−1/8". Compatible with laser cutting, routing, drilling, and bonding. Custom cut-to-size available.

Buying Acrylic Sheets at Canal Plastics Center

We stock one of the largest acrylic sheet selections in New York: clear, frosted, colored, textured, mirrored, glitter, pearlescent, and specialty finishes, available in pre-cut sizes, full sheets, and custom cut-to-size. Most materials are on the shelf at our 345 Canal Street store for same-day pickup, with nationwide shipping on standard sizes.

Beyond materials, our in-house fabrication team handles laser cutting, CNC routing, edge polishing, drilling, and UV printing. A single order can go from raw sheet to finished part without leaving our SoHo workshop, whether it's a one-off prototype or a full production run.
