Fire Tortoise Shell Acrylic Sheet

Rich, dramatic, and alive with movement, our Fire Tortoise Shell Acrylic Sheet is a vivid marble-swirl cast acrylic in deep amber, burnt orange, copper, and warm mahogany, laid down in a pronounced tortoise shell pattern. This sheet reads two completely different ways. Unlit it is dark, close to a deep oxblood-black, with the pattern surfacing only where it catches the light. Backlit it transforms: the amber and orange pigments ignite and the whole panel turns to fire. Worth seeing both ways before you choose it.

Fire Tortoise Shell is one of our most striking backlit materials. When placed over LED or ambient light, the deep red and amber pigments come alive, producing a dramatic, glowing effect that transforms panels, partitions, signage, and architectural features into statement installations. It also engraves beautifully, revealing the lighter internal tones of the material for clean, high-contrast results on signage, branding elements, and decorative panels.

Both sides are glossy with the full marble-swirl pattern visible: the top side carries the most vivid and dynamic expression of the tortoise shell pattern. Each sheet is individually cast, making every piece unique. Fabricates cleanly with laser cutting, CNC routing, engraving, UV printing, and polishing.
