DESCRIPTION

Classic tortoise, reimagined in deep red and black. Our Fire Tortoise Acrylic Sheet blends molten color with rich depth, creating a dramatic marbled pattern that glows from within. The upgraded version offers cleaner swirls and more balanced transparency, capturing the warmth of glass and the energy of flame.

Cast from premium acrylic with pigments mixed directly into the material, each sheet is unique — no printed patterns or surface films. The color and movement run through the entire thickness, allowing for laser cutting, edge polishing, and forming without losing intensity. Perfect for retail interiors, signage, lighting, furniture, and art fabrication where elegance meets edge.
Full sheets are 24" x 40" come as  23-13/16 x 39-3/4 - tolerance +/- 1/4".
Pre-Cuts tolerance +/- 1/4".

Fabrication Tips:
Laser cut with masking in place for clean edges. For better engraving remove plastic film masking.

Light transmission is a function of thickness; the given number is measured at 1/8" thick. Color and light transmission values may differ slightly due to manufacturer variations.

Our acrylic sheets—also known as plexiglass, Lucite, or Perspex—are made primarily from cast acrylic, prized for its crystal clarity, rigidity, and ease of fabrication. Compared to extruded acrylic, cast acrylic offers superior optical quality, better resistance to solvents, and a smoother polished edge when laser cut or machined.

At Canal Plastics Center, nearly all of our sheet materials are cast acrylic, with the exception of our Mirrored Acrylic, Iridescent Acrylic, and Gallery Framing collections, which are made from extruded acrylic for optimal consistency and reflective performance.

We stock an extensive range of cast acrylic sheets—clear, frosted, colored, textured, and specialty finishes—available in pre-cut sizes, full sheets, and custom cut-to-size options.
