Craftics Saber Saw Blades are designed specifically for cutting acrylic sheet, Plexiglas, Lucite, and Acrylite - straight cuts and curved cuts. Each pack contains two blades: the Gold blade for sheets up to ¼″ thick, and the Green blade for sheets thicker than ¼″. Using the right blade for the material thickness reduces friction, heat buildup, and the risk of cracking or chipping along the cut line.
Leave masking paper or film on the sheet while cutting to protect the surface and reduce friction. Apply masking tape to both sides of the intended cut line if the protective film has been removed. Keep the material firmly supported and held in place while cutting - do not force the blade through the material. Cut slowly and let the blade do the work.
