Clear Moiré Illusion Film (Polycarbonate Multi-Lensed Film)

Clear Moiré Illusion Film is a multi-lensed polycarbonate material that creates subtle waves of motion and depth as light shifts across its surface. Thousands of microscopic parabolic lenses are molded into both sides of the film, refracting and reflecting light to produce the signature moiré pattern—a soft, fluid effect reminiscent of rippling water or moving silk.

This semi-transparent film offers a fine, textured surface that reacts beautifully to changes in lighting and viewing angle. The clear, colorless tint allows underlying surfaces or light sources to influence the visual effect, making it ideal for creative projects that call for motion, clarity, and light diffusion.

Durable yet flexible, Rowlux Illusion Film can be easily cut with scissors, a utility knife, or standard cutting tools. It can also be printed, bonded, or laminated to other materials for a wide range of applications. An opaque-backed version is available for projects such as drum wraps, musical instruments, and display panels that require full opacity.

At Canal Plastics Center, Clear Moiré Illusion Film is sold by the yard in a standard width of 25-3/8 inches, or in convenient 12" × 12" sample sheets. Orders by the yard are delivered in one continuous roll (up to 50 yards).
