Cognac Tortoise Shell Acrylic Sheet

Warm, golden, and lit from within, our Cognac Tortoise Shell Acrylic Sheet is a marble-swirl cast acrylic in honey, toffee, and deep cocoa, laid down in a pronounced tortoise shell pattern. Where Fire Tortoise Shell hides its color until you light it, this one carries its warmth openly: the golden ground reads clearly in ordinary room light, with the darker veining drawn through it like smoke.

Backlit it opens up further. The honey ground goes to a clear glowing gold and the dark veining reads as sharp contrast against it, so the pattern is actually more legible lit than unlit, the reverse of how Fire Tortoise Shell behaves. It engraves beautifully, cutting through the darker passages to reveal the lighter tone underneath for clean, high-contrast results on signage, branding elements, and decorative panels.

Cognac Tortoise Shell suits backlit panels, illuminated signage, feature walls, decorative partitions, retail displays, and hospitality interiors. It is a natural fit for eyewear, jewelry, and accessory display work, where the tortoise reference is already part of the visual language, and it pairs cleanly with brass, walnut, cream, and black.

Both sides are glossy with the full marble-swirl pattern visible: the top side carries the most vivid and dynamic expression of the tortoise shell pattern.
