Natural Coroplast Corrugated Plastic Sheet

Natural Coroplast Corrugated Plastic Sheet is corrugated polypropylene with no added color: a milky, translucent board, also known as milk, milky or translucent coroplast, and sometimes called clear coroplast. Light passes through it and the internal flutes show as soft parallel lines. Like all coroplast it is two flat skins joined by internal flutes, the same twin-wall structure as corrugated cardboard, but waterproof, impact resistant and resistant to a wide range of chemicals. At 4mm (3/16") it is rigid yet light, it does not fray, rot or absorb moisture, and it is fully recyclable. Both faces are smooth, with no masking to peel.

Choose Natural when you want light to come through. It diffuses light in light boxes, lamp and model lighting projects, and makes translucent dividers, screens and partitions. On job sites it covers windows and glass doors during demolition and painting without blacking out the room, and it protects floors and walls like any coroplast. Designers and model makers use it for prototypes and packaging where a lighter, see-through look suits the piece.

The sheet cuts with a sharp utility knife: cuts parallel to the flutes are the easiest, while cuts across the flutes take a fresh blade and a straightedge. It can be die-cut, scored, creased and folded into boxes and sleeves. Join it by heat sealing, ultrasonic welding, stitching, rivets, zip ties, double-sided tape or hot glue. Acrylic solvent cements will not bond polypropylene. It can be laser cut, but polypropylene can flare up, so never leave a cut unattended. Custom cutting is available in-shop at Canal Street.
