Warm, rich and quietly glamorous, our Cocoa Lace Acrylic Sheet is an opaque cast acrylic in a soft cocoa taupe, traced with a looping lace of cinnamon-brown glitter flecked with violet. The pools between the threads carry a satin pearl sheen that runs from mauve to deep cocoa, so the surface reads like polished stones set in a filigree of sparkle.
The glitter is set just beneath the surface rather than on top of it. The lace reads raised and dimensional, but the face is flat, glossy and smooth to the touch, so it wipes clean and handles like any glossy sheet.
Cocoa Lace suits laser-cut jewelry, guitar pickguards and inlays, boxes, coasters, signage accents and display details for leather goods, cosmetics and hospitality. It pairs well with walnut, brass, warm off-white and deep burgundy.
The lace pattern is on one face only. The reverse is a plain taupe brown, where the pattern shows only as a soft, cloudy shadow, and cut edges show the solid color, so mark the pattern face on the protective masking before you cut. The pattern varies from area to area and no two cut pieces are identical. Fabricates cleanly with laser cutting, CNC routing, UV printing, and polishing; the glitter may need slightly more laser power than standard cast acrylic.
