Sapphire Blue Shattered Acrylic Sheet

Deep, saturated and full of movement, our Sapphire Blue Shattered Acrylic Sheet is a cast acrylic packed with hard-edged flakes, like crushed shell set into a deep royal blue ground. Each flake catches the light with a satin sheen, running from pale ice blue on its face to rich sapphire in the shadows between, so the surface reads as layered and almost faceted rather than flat.

In ordinary room light it reads as a solid color. At roughly 3 to 5% light transmission it is technically translucent, so a strong backlight will push a faint glow through the thinner passages between the flakes, but this is a sheet chosen for its surface rather than as a light panel.

Sapphire Blue suits laser-cut earrings and jewelry, hair accessories, guitar pickguards and inlays, boxes, coasters, signage accents and retail display details, where the shattered pattern makes even small pieces look like cut stone. It pairs well with brass, crisp white, navy and natural wood.

Glossy finish with the shattered pattern running through the full sheet, so it varies from area to area and no two cut pieces are identical. Fabricates cleanly with laser cutting, CNC routing, engraving, UV printing, and polishing.
